If you don't know God don't make stupid remarks

I got this in an email and felt it is worth sharing…… 

 If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!! 

A United States Marine was taking some college courses 

between assignments. He had completed 20 missions in   Iraq   

 and   Afghanistan  . One of the courses had a professor  who 

was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.

One day the professor shocked the class when he came in. 

He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated, "GOD, if you are real, then 

I want you to knock me off this platform... I'll give you exactly 15 min." 

The lecture room fell silent. You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes 

went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got 

out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; 

knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there 

looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, 

noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked, 

 "What in the world is the matter with you?  Why did you do that?" 

The Marine calmly replied, 

"GOD was too busy today protecting America 's 

soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid 

stuff and act like an idiot.. So He sent me."

The classroom erupted in cheers!

We are all "WHOEVER"

Whoever; this is an important word to look at in regard to the following words of our Lord Jesus Christ. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. ~ John 3:14-16

What is the definition of the word “whoever”? It means “anyone”. There are no indications of exceptions in this word, nor in this scripture. Jesus said that anyone, whoever believes in Him will not perish; will have everlasting life. He did not say anyone except the tall, the short, the skinny, the fat, the gay, the straight, or any other discriminatory exclusion. He said whoever. That means you. That means me. The ONLY way to have eternal life according to Jesus Himself is that we believe in Him. That’s it. It’s that simple. 

Life is an ongoing adventure

I am new at blogging and decided to enter into this new arena because, quite simply, I want to give it a try. I enjoy sharing things and I enjoy meeting new people even if it be via the internet through blogging or social media. I don't know how much I will post or how often. I do know that I have lots on my mind and I know I will share what goes on in this head of mine. I will say things that may not make sense to anyone but me, I will say things that just might upset people, I may say something that might inspire people.

There is always something new to learn and something to share. Life is an ongoing adventure and the only way to truly enjoy it is to live it, learn from it, share it, and take one day at a time.
